Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy

Almost everything we sell is made to order — printed for you after you order it. That means generous cancellation before production starts, replacement or refund for anything that arrives damaged or defective, but no returns for change of mind on custom or made-to-order pieces.

• Before production starts — cancel from your orders page or by contacting us, for a 100% refund. Orders typically enter production within 12 hours of confirmation.
• After production starts — made-to-order and custom items cannot be cancelled, since the piece is already being printed for you.

If your order arrives damaged, has a manufacturing defect, or is not what you ordered, tell us within 48 hours of delivery at hello@vmk3d.ai (or reply to your WhatsApp order updates) with photos — an unboxing video helps us resolve claims fastest. We will first offer a free reprint/replacement; if a replacement is not possible, we issue a full refund including shipping.

Minor layer lines, seams and slight colour variation are inherent to 3D printing and are not defects. Damage caused after delivery (drops, heat, sunlight warping, misuse) is not covered.

Custom and made-to-order items are produced uniquely for you and are not returnable for change of mind. If we ever stock ready-made (non-custom) items, they may be returned unused in original packaging within 7 days of delivery; return shipping is borne by the buyer and the refund covers the product price.

• The design fee paid at concept approval is credited in full against your final order for that project.
• It is refundable if we fail to deliver a 3D model for your approved concept, or if we cancel the project from our side.
• It is non-refundable once 3D generation and designer work have begun and deliverables have been shared — your project includes up to 3 free revisions to get the design right instead.

Downloadable 3D files are non-refundable once delivered or downloaded. If a file is corrupted or does not match its description, contact us within 48 hours and we will replace it or refund it.

Approved refunds are initiated within 2 business days and credited to your original payment method within 5–7 business days (bank timelines may vary). Cash-on-Delivery orders, where COD was offered, are refunded by bank transfer or UPI after you share the details. Cash on Delivery is available only for tangible/physical products.
